Saysutshun Provincial Park (Newcastle Island)

The wedding will be taking place on Saysutshun island, a small car-free island 10 minutes by ferry from Nanaimo.

Note: You do not need to take this ferry

Feel free to come via canoe, kayak, fishing rig, motorboat, surfboard,

brand new sail boat you named Breaking Wind and will be circling the wedding in, paddleboard, plywood constructed barge, etc.

Getting here:

There is a 10-minute ferry from Nanaimo to the island every half hour (daily).

We will be chartering a late-night ferry for people who stay late on the day of the wedding

Getting to Nanaimo:

Bike, walk, bus, fly, or ferry - run (if you must).

Saysuthsun ferry:

Ferries run from Maffeo Sutton Park.

Camping is welcomed and encouraged. You will need to bring all your own camping gear.
